Facebook Messenger to add self-destructing messages :
Facebook Messenger came with a new update which adds self-destructing message feature, which is shown in newly uploaded screenshots. The information appeared on Twitter, showing details about disappearing messages in Facebook Messenger v68.0 for iOS which is the currently available version in the App store, however this won’t be officially released until a future update.
this update brings new feature, which is the same way we got free form windows mode working on Android N. Once this feature is enabled, user can able to set a self destruct timer that messages in a chat will automatically disappear after a certain amount of time, which can purely set by the user of given one minute, fifteen minutes, an hour, four hours and a day.

Of course, we can’t confirm the legitimacy of the screenshots, besides this Facebook Messenger is also rumored that it is going to add a secret chat function which looks like a reasonable update.This Secret chats in Messenger will likely be conversations with end-to-end encrypted messages, much like what WhatsApp has recently one by default, but only for select conversations.
